I Received my B.S. in Speech Communication at Syracuse University where I studied Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication, Human Resource Management, Process Writing Techniques and Presentational Speaking. A smaller emphasis was placed on Economics. I went on to receive a Post Graduate Certificate in Information Systems and Telecommunications Management where I focused on Systems Analysis and Design, Computer Networking, Information Research Techniques, and Database Management. It was here that I was first introduced to the School of Information Studies. I continued my education in IST and received my M.S. in Telecommunications and Network Management. My degree included course work in Information Systems Analysis, Business Process Analysis, Management Strategies, Business/Strategic Planning, and Information Network Technology. As a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) with IBM I transitioned external customer accounts into IBM's outsourcing portfolio. I also worked with global delivery centers in Argentina, India and Poland to offshore IT services. I am ITIL v3 certified. |
